Utku obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science at the Lund University, Sweden. He mainly part of the projects linked with social ecological system dynamics, local knowledge, biodiversity conservation and livelihoods. Currently, he works as freelance consultant and researcher in different projects.

 

During his projects and travels he aims to reveal visual stories  on human-nature relationships. He believes inspiring and compelling stories have the power for social change and can spur positive action.​
